Orbs are little round bits of light or something that you can see floating around in pictures. Dust particles or something extraterrestrial, that's what Brian's trying to figure out. He has become rather obsessive about it, but it's just fun.
"Roger and I go poncing and ultrablagging just about everywhere and lately we've been termed a couple of queens."
Orbs are light anomolies that occur in pictures or video taken digitally. Some consider them to be dust particles caught in the flash, while others consider them something paranormal.

After finding out about these things 3 years ago, I'm a little more pursuaded to the latter. Though, only because of a programme in the UK called Most Haunted. Their investigations sometimes come up with these little orbs on video.

I often think they're just bits of dust or otherwise. But there have been some captured on video that look like shapes moving around. I don't dismiss them. But then, I don't always feel they lend much weight. But in the end, they're still a very interesting phenomena to behold.

I think the best place to see these anomolies is with the "Best of" dvd of this programme. I don't know what's on it, but I'll bet these are orbs are shown and explained.

Peace,
Adam.
"But there have been some captured on video that look like shapes moving around"

That's the auto focus lens rotating.

You were right second time, they are nothing more than dust particles caught by the flash.

The reason they've 'appeared' in recent years is beacuse these newer compact cameras (mainly digital) have their flashes right next to the lens illuminating dust (and even water) particles that are situated close in front of the lens.

Heres a link that can explain it better than me...

"That's the auto focus lens rotating."

Er... do you know the video I'm referring to? How could you possibly know? Oh and, they don't set the cameras to auto-focus.

And if these orbs were so easily explainable to be simply dust, then why are they not disproved already?

Peace,
Adam.
Because they do not comply with the worlds stringent usuary laws. That's why and the only reason why.

Gee, and here I thought they were water spots on the lens.

Dust, water spots, or other non-divine intervention, I truly think Brian is humoring the photo submitters in order to avoid offending them. Brian knows that things like photos mean a LOT to his fans, and would never want to burst their balloon!!! Besides that, one must bear in mind Brian's ironic sense of humor when you read things like that!

I'm getting sick of one person blindly supporting anything Brian brings up on his site.

Could someone explain me WTF are those ORBs?

What about two people blindly supporting anything Brian brings up on his site.
It's his site he can say what he wants. If you don't like it don't go there.

"It's his site he can say what he wants"

Yes, he can say what he wants and he can also expect to be criticized. That's quite natural. Freedom of speech, you know.

Bullwinkle, you've already been warned by others. Don't pick fights.

And it's not a case of blindly supporting what Brian says or does. It's about being interested in the same things and/or sharing similar opinions. That's what you have a problem with. You can't fathom that maybe, just maybe, there are people who share similar views to Brian.

All I can say is, get over it.

Peace,
Adam.

EDIT: And if you'd read my post, you would've noticed that I said I've been interested in this phenomena for the last 3 years.
I've been anxious to see what Brian has to say about WWRY Vegas, having attended the premiere and after-party myself. It was an extremely exciting time, and I am sure he has much to write about. Unfortunately, Brian has been spending quite a bit of time writing about orbs (or, light reflecting dust, if you will).

There have been strong criticism about my use of youth stereotypes, but I have not been given any warnings or threats.

You are probably referring to a paranormal warning that I was unable to channel.

You are almost correct. I can't handle your sharing syncophant views to Brian.

I'm glad to see that i am not the only one who has been patiently awaiting Mr. May's comments on the Vegas Premeire and Aftershow Gig.

I have the sinking feeling Jordy that we may never get to hear them now that his attention is focused elsewhere for the first time in 3 years....on ORBS of all things!!

I hope one day to click on BM.Com and see a lovely write up/review by him about it with of course some tantilizingly wonderful photos he took...but i'm afraid we have moved beyond that time now.

Dare i say it....i'm dissapointed.
