John wants to spend time with his six sons(his youngest son is almost 10) and one daughter. Brian and Roger are doing great with the archival concerts coming out. However, I didn't like the Pepsi commercial they did with Britney, Beyonce and Pink!

Also, with six kids, I'm sure he wanted to actually see all of them grow up. I know I would.
Besides that, family comes first. Just leave the man only and not worry about him. He is fine sitting on his fat ass, counting his money and playing with his kids.

John is entitled to retire when he wants. He spent many hours during Queens hey day writing and producing the records, as well as all the time touring.
If I had the money John has, unless I really enjoyed every bit of my job I would also retire and enjoy life.
Some people live to work (which hould be said for Brian and to a lesser extent Roger), whereas I think John worked to live (don't balm him as this is my phylosophy).
