I am looking for (Titles) old 1970's type Rock 'n roll/Pop music type television shows.
Here in the UK we had a number of them. "Top Of The Pops", "Supersonic", "Shangalang", "Marc Bolan Show" etc.
Germany had "Beatclub", the USA had shows like "Shindig" or "Ed Sullivan".
What are the glaring omissions - and what about shows from Canada, Australia, Holland, France, Japan etc?
Any ideas - and do you think some tapes may survive?

Holland: Top Pop
Lots of stuff still exists today: there actually was/is a tv-show based on the Top Pop archive. It's basically a question & answer show, with questions about artists who've appeared on the show 30 years ago. Queen performed Killer Queen at Top Pop in late 1974. Top Pop also showed footage of the Rotterdam 1979 concerts and Roger did Future Management in 1981.

The Old Grey Whistle Test.
American Bandstand and the Midnight Special with Wolfman Jack
Dick Clark certainly owns most of the American Bandstand tapes, if not all of them.
VH1 used to show Midnight Special reruns about 8 years ago, so at least some tapes survive. (Pretty sure I saw BoRap on there once)
