Queen is my favorite band ever, and in recent years I've also become a huge Madonna fan. I think Elton John and Roger need to get their facts straight before they go criticizing other artists that have not criticized them. Madonna has not lip synched in YEARS! (In fact, you can download a clip from madonnalicious.com of her messing up during "Express Yourself" in Washington DC on her latest tour, and there are several accounts of fans making her laugh during singing, which proves she was not miming!) That jab should have been directed toward Britney Spears, who never sings a single note in concert!

Madonna, even if she is overrated, she set the stage for female pop singers in the 1980's, and pushed the envelope since then. But it is good to see Roger take a jab or two at another veteran musician.
Anyway, Brian May did a good thing by voicing his opinion on his Soapbox at brianmay.com, totally going against what Elton and Roger say. That's staying power, believe me.
