Am I the only one who thinks the Big O theme song is suprisingly very familiar to Flash's theme?

I KNOW it is. LOL! I have the soundtrack albums to that, It's one of my faves. :D

Don't know that one. With me, it's CLAMP, CLAMP, and only CLAMP. And Cowboy Bebop.

And their theme music usually sucks.

But I must listen to this :$

I'm pretty sure it was intentional.

Dan, where did you find the soundtracks, the other music is that series is really good, I can't find it in any stores (or online to download for that matter).

I bought the soundtracks at www.houseofanime.com a couple of years back (JUST before the show hit US shores). I had seen a few episodes of it on a video that my brother had an REALLY liked the show and the music. If they don't still have it there, Drop me a line.

I've never heard Big O, to be honest.

Btw. my favourite anime themes are:

Urusei Yatsura - Lum's Love Song
Urusei Yatsura - Rock The Planet (by Steffanie Borges)
Ranma 1/2 - So Many Memories
Inu Yasha - Grip! (by Every Little Thing)

...and a few other ones I'm too lazy to mention right now :P

I was referring to CLAMP's stuff. The theme song to "X" could be the worst song I've ever heard.

Wow, I haven't thought of that until now, but yeah, they are similar. Anyway, Cowboy Bebop has some of my favorite anime music, but I think that my favorite music would have to be from Furi Kuri.

Bebop has awesome music.

Trigun I can't really remember the music since cartoon network put it on at like 1:30 on saturdays, I ordered a set though, so maybe after I start watching it again I'll have an opinion.

FLCL was good too, I have both OSTS form that, the pillows are great, I also like all the music refrences in it.

Even though I'm not into techno type stuff that much, I really enjoyed the soundtrack for Ghost In The Shell : Stand Alone Complex, It was done by the same person as bebeop, sounds completely different through.

I believe the Bebop team also worked on Wolf's Rain and Rahxephon, and I know the theme for Rah Xephon was composed by the same person as bebop (her names slips my mind at the moment).

Another series that has great music is Lupin III.
VGB, I may be able to copy the disks for you if you can't find them anywhere. They're pretty difficult to track down.

Lupin III's not a particular favorite of mine. Too surreal. Never heard the music, though.

Im really really fond of Gravitation's music (for example, SPICY MARMALADE). Yeah :-3 it may just be because I'm a complete dance freak, but whatever.
I don't actually listen to much Anime music as opposed to J-rock in general.
