Hi,

which is your favorite Queen song written or sung by Roger?
That's the list:

-Modern times Rock & Roll
-Loser in the End
-Tenement Funster
-I'm in Love with my Car
-Drowse
-Sheer Heart Attack
-Fight from the Inside
-Fun it ;-)
-More of that Jazz
-Rock it (prime jive)
-A Human Body
-Coming soon
-Action this day
-Calling all girls
-Radio GaGa
-A Kind of Magic
-Don't loose your head
-A dozen red roses ;-)
-Hijack my heart
-Heaven for everyone
I do not mention the Co-written ones on Works, Miracle, Innuendo and MIH because it is not really obvious, except Breakthru and Invisible Man I think.

My favorite is - well hard to tell - maybe Tenement Funster, which has the taste of a rebellion, but Flight from the Inside has IMHO the best overall sound, and the one I dislike is More of that Jazz, because it bores me quite a lot. I realized that Roger got more and more softer in the last years, not that rocker like in the 70s, even his lyrics changed from Cars and bars to ... well, something not to be indentified :)

So, I am curious of your favorites, c'mon! :)
Special thanks to Arif Mardin who arranged and produced some hot and spacey horns on "Staying Power" ;-)
'These Are The Days Of Our Lives' and 'A Human Body', though I tend to like most of Roger's compositions anyway.
OMG don't stone me, I forgot to mention the Flash Gordon songs to complete the list :D

TATDOOL and Innuendo by a mile!
Chom own mudder fukker.
Drowse, Tenement Funster, I'm In Love With My Car and These Are The Days Of Our Lives. I love his other songs, but those are the ones that stand out the most.
Resistance is futile. You are now an orb.
I'm In Love With My Car and Innuendo.
But now it's time to be gone - forever...
Innuendo is Fred`s (musically, plus part of the lyrics).

My choice would be Days Of Our Lives
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.
Drowse and These Are the Days of Our Lives
Kay Adams Corleone- The ultimate desperate housewife
my favorites are
rock it, im in love with my car, and these are the days
"I am Jack The Pumpkin King!" - Jack The Pumpkin King

Forgive me if I have ballsed up, I always believed that Innuendo was Rogers idea.
Chom own mudder fukker.
Drowse, if I have to pick one. I like all his songs. Not to mention his solo stuff (would be another thread) "Fun in Space" is one of my all time favs.
Guten Tag und Guten Abend !!! We had a great time in Cologne. Drinking beer in the sunshine beside the Mighty Rhein brought back many memories for me..... (Brian May, 2004)
Tenement Funster and Modern Times Rock 'n' Roll.

Although I do like 'More of that Jazz' also.
...this kettle is boiling over... ...one dump...one turd...two tits...John Deacon... ...one prawn...one shrimp...one clam...one chicken!
My favo's are:
Radio Ga Ga
Heaven for Everyone
A Kind of Magic
heaven for everyone
i´m in love with my car
drowse
2+2=5

It`s because a QMS list done years ago, in which they thought the song was Rog`s just because it had much percussion (absurd argument btw). Then it got spread and soon it was "common knowledge" that the song "had been written" by Roger. It turns out that he did participate actively in the lyrics, but that was it. He comleted what Fred had written, lyrically. Musically it`s still Mercury`s.
