I listen to queen last songs lyrics, but I still haven't got a clue what are you trying to say, so wtf???

Freddie_slave (Rocker: 30 posts) - you need to get a life...and soon...how can you possibly be this affected by someone you never even saw alive in your lifetime...his music might be great, but to tell the truth...you ain't got a clue....just do the f**king test....you'll be an adult one day...and look back and remember some of the arse-stupid things you said on here....and you'll be embarrassed (in a reflective sort of way)

there are people on here who ACTUALLY grew up with queen, going through school remembering hearing killer queen when it hit the charts, remembering seeing bo rhap on totp during that glorious 9-week run where the BBC cut and spliced, and shortened and played over the credits because THEY got fed up with it....some of us remember actually getting fan-club magazines....and waiting to hear what the band were up to....i remember being utterly blown away when i heard STL in the autumn of 76....i was f**king studying then....but i didn't cry....i remember seeing them live for the first time - NEC 24:11:79 - now that's a special memory for me - queen opened the NEW NEC in birmingham - my home town....and guess what? even though it shares the anniverary of his death, i look back at 24:11 as a special time for me...when i finally became part of what all the other queen fans already were....soemone who saw them live....and then there's the four times since then - milton keynes, nec 2:9:84, wembley 13:7:86 (anniversary of live aid) and finally i saw them on their final gig anywhere in the world - knebworth 86...

sorry for going on...but some of us actually were very close to queen...we don't profess to know everything about them....i'm pleased to say by being in here - learn something new everyday, but i honestly (to f**k) wish i didn't have to learn new stuff posted by the likes of Freddie_slave - ffs - get real - quit posting cr*p

couldn't agree more...i lost a schoolfriend who was run over when he was 7. I'm 42 now and still think about him, also lost my grandmother in 1978 - that's 26years....and hardly a day goes by when i don't miss her....our cat died 2 years ago - she was 18 - miss her too, oh year, and FM died 13 years ago....and his music touched my life for 17 years until his death
but then people who are taking tests on 24th november and who never actually saw freddie alive are bound to miss him more than his ex-band mates/friends - how stupid of us, Lester - thanks for putting this "tit" in his place - wish i could have done it so well

We don't have school on the 24th here, Thanksgiving break. Anyway, I would just get over it if I were you. You're making too big a deal out of it. You didn't even know Freddie, sure we all love his music, but there's no sense in carrying on about it like this. Your teacher probably thinks you've completely lost your mind, especially if she's not a fan.

I can do anything on November 24th. I think of Freddie a few times during the day, usually listen to aload of Queen, more than usual, but I can't spend the whole day mourning him. He did die almost 13 years ago. Besides I was only young and wasn't even a music fan when he died.
