Watched this on the Video Hits 2 dvd the other day.
Very enjoyable - you can really hear the guitar without the horn arrangement.
Do you like it?

much better thanthe studio version
Not even close to as good as the studio version, but still very enjoyable. Looking forward to the Milton Keynes CD/DVD release.

It's your opinion. I prefer the live version with the guitars...
I think it'll be even better in stereo :)

Yeah, that would be nice. I really should start seriously looking for a stand-alone DTS decoder.
Always loved the song, live and studio versions.

are you jokin?studio version suck if you compare it to live version.brian'guitar is terrific live
Actually there is John's guitar too, because he didn't play bass on it and used usual guitar.
yeah, Johhny used a telecaster there. i read somewhere that the group preferred the live one rather than the studio one because it was heavier.

Actually, Brian said that SP sounded even better live than in the studio, and stronger. But it doesn`t mean the rest of the band thought so. Perhaps they did, perhaps they didn`t
for all those who say SP sounds better live because they used more guitar and less synth - there is a demo version of SP without any synths, but it sounds even less enjoyable as the version with synths. I like the live version more, but especially because of the drum pattern, and it is played slightly faster (i mean....)

The studio version in an incredible acheivement, mixing trademark Queen with other styles. The horns, the multiple Freddie vocal tracks and the slower tempo make the studio version superior in my eyes.
Live was good, but a lot of the elements that made the song special in the first place were absent.

In that version there are synths: bass is done in keyboards as in all other versions. Also there`s a drum machine
