If Brian were to auction his red special. How much would it sell for do you reckon?
I'd say a few hundred thousand pounds.
The hardest thing is getting to the top, then having to come down! :)
I'd gladly sleep with Flashman to acquire some of said small change.

Wait, what?
Heck it's worth a month's pay.. so I'd say roughly $1062.00
I heard a rumour that Eric Clapton once offered Brian somewhere in the region of $3,000,000 and he knocked it back. Would love to know how true that is - maybe Greg Brooks (since he appears to be posting here) can answer that one?
I'm saying nothing.....
its got me thinking...

you must also wonder how he has included it in his will...
In fairness, just because GB* is now a (freelance) QP associate, he isn't automatically an authority on Brian's personal conversations since the dawn of time.

I'm sure he'd be willing to answer any questions you have about archives. Especially if they weren't questions he'd previously been asked 527 times before.

Jimmy? That son of his? I wanna see the day that happens...
I'd rather see it burn.
I'd say ... one...jillion dollars!

About 9 million I would say. Yeah. 9.

well...actually...that doesn't sound all that retarded...

Well...from 7-9 million dollars. But it's not reaaaaaaaaally worth much, is it now?

The Red Special would stay better in a museum rather than on someone's hands.

no price for the original

but i have my copy and it is great.SLURP :D
Anything too stupid to be said... is sung.
Ive always hoped that if Brian left us that hed take the guitar with him.
Chom own mudder fukker.
I'd rather hope that if/when Brian leaves this mortal realm that the red special is placed in a secret place so that the Bohemian lost youth of the future can discover it and unlock the mighty riffs which will restore true individualistic music to the galaxy.

Or something like that.

Sounds like an ideal plot for a musical. You may have something there.

Hahaha!

I think Brian has been know to say that he would be buried with it. I hope not, I hope its kept in a museum for all to see and for any future replicas to be based on...
