Not that anyone outside of Edmonton, Canada cares, but I thought I'd post about it anyways...
Stephen Mandel was elected mayor of Edmonton last night (and I happened to vote for him too - that marks the first time I've ever voted in an election!)
He replaces incumbent Bill Smith, who had served two terms as mayor prior to this election.
I wish Mandel a good term as mayor!
(*Oh and as a side note, he is the first mayor to be elected after Edmonton's 100th birthday, which was earlier this year!)
