I am having some hardware issues with my computer (fan's not working). So, like any hapless college student, I take it to our university's tech support center. Well, it turns out, I have to give computer science grad students permission to ghost my computer if need be. Wonderful, so I HAD to give these people permission to ghost my computer or else they wouldn't look at it! Can you believe that??? Luckily, my stuff is backed up, but i still find it rather dumb that I have to give that permission for a hardware problem. Ah well...i hope they are smart enough to realize that. Just wanted to vent...sympathy welcome :)

it´s a hard and painful lesson to learn...but better stay a whole week trying to figure out a - computer - problem, than let some guy touch YOUR computer!
