One of the underrated moments of this song is John's bass solo in the end, along with the piano. A small piece of talent from Mr. Deacon.

Brian wrote the song about wishing he had an older or younger sister that he could share the growing pains with as he was an oly child if you listen to the In The Studio episode on The Game! To my ears, it sounds like Brian singing the high note before "you can throw it away to soon" and the way too soon before going yeh before the guitar solo. Roger hit the highest aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh before the middle guitar solo.
