I have never heard John Deacons voice, unless, of course i just simply didn't notice it on any live DVD or something, but i mean really, he has a voice, and i am sure it isn't COMPLETELY terrible, it's not like he has the voice of a dying cow.

It is suprisingly English. More so than Roger or Brian.
He also has a ... *lisp* (I'm not exactly sure what it is but I'm using lisp at the moment). He has a ruddy good sense of humour.

I laugh that when he lost his license he was able to take the bus and not be recognised.
I also cry when John tries to talk at the Concert for Life and people are cheering over him. Poor bloke.
AHAHAA!!! See, I'll end up like that. Going on public transportation, and some kid will nudge me over on the seat because they think I'm stupid -- and no one will have any clue who the heck I am. Love it.
But poor John. Aw, I'd like to hear him sing. I bet it's not half as bad as everyone makes it out to be. (Nothing that a little practice can't cure.) :) Hehehee, of course, coming from someone who takes voice privately ... but seriously.
John sounds just like the person that i am. Looses things, is always the forgotten one, and has a good sense of humor. He would be my best friend. [lol]

Brian`s vocals in 80s tours are very quiet, note Let Me Entertain You at Montreal: Brian joins Freddie for "crazy performance" but you only hear Freddie (and Roger). At Wembley Brian is notable in Tie Your Mother Down in "friend of mine", but for the rest he was only clearly audible when he took over the lead vocals (One Vision & Hello Mary Lou).
As for John, I think the mic was on (but very quiet like Brian`s in the 80s). Still I don`t hear him (or at least clearly). The Somebody To Love out-of-pitch voice at Earls Court I`m pretty sure is Brian`s.
John can be very clearly heard at Earls Court '77 during both Liar and Somebody to Love. What's more is he is singing into Freddie's mic. Don't believe it?? Watch it, and listen to it. Closely, Seeing is believing my friend.
He sings along with the "All day long part" of Liar during live concerts (for example live at the Rainbow '74 during the medley)But I think you hear Briam singing louder so John's voice isn't recognisable.

I agree... Freddie often chose to have John sing with him during Liar in the early days.. you can even see John going up to the Mic at the Tribute Concert as well as many other shows..

The "John Deacon" only introduces the bass line. Just as "Brian May, Brian May" introdces the guitar solo and "Rrrrrrrroger Taylor" the drum solo. IT ain't too hard to hear that it is Fred's vocal part...
When you see John at wembley, During "Lap of the Gods" in the "whoo whoo la la" part he must be singing it as he looks as though he is straining to get to the higher notes, not just saying them! however this mike could of been switched off !
I've heard John singing during Somebody To Love at Earls Court 1977. Just listen really carefully, only concentrate on the voices, than you will be able hearing him. John sings with an 'accent', just like the way he talks, he really IS singing...
I think he can sing. Maby just a little but i think he could. Almost every musician can sing a little. I Noticed that he sings in the mic in Live At Wembley but I don't hear his voice, I have never heard it :S
I think his mic was on but very low volume. And in Earls Court the sound engineer left it a little too loud :)
Brian mentioned that John 'sang' parts of Another One Bites the Dust to Freddie, isn't that right?

Isn´t there a third voice in more songs, like Seven Seas Of Rhye, Tear It Up and Who wants To Live Forever?? I always hear it :P
In Seven Seas & Forever you`re absolutely right. In Tear It Up it`s Spike the one you hear loud ("oh yeah")
