Okay, I understand that this topic is probably obsolete and insignificant, but I wanted to just bring it up.

At the Wembley '86 performance, Tear It Up is performed after Seven Seas Of Rhye. Before it begins, though, Queen goes into it by playing some of Liar. I thought that was pretty cool, as Liar is one of their earliest songs, even before their first album was released. Plus, it was a good transition into Tear It Up, another one of my favorites.

I just felt this was interesting and was a great piece from the Wembley concert. What do you think?

(note: I know i'm an idiot for even trying to bring it up because you probably don't care, but it doesn't matter lol)

Actually whenever I listen to Tear It Up from Wembley I always hear John's Bass going out of tune, then him trying to tune it, then him stopping playing altogether, then joining in again!!!
Dead Daddy Long-legs. I'm still drinking it.

I think it is, without a doubt, the intro in Liar. At least is this not in TIU studio version :)

I'll have to listen for those things.
I knew that little segue sounded familiar.
I recently read something
- sorry I can't source it -
that pointed out the similarity between the live ending of CLTCL and YMBF.

I like this Liar introduction goes into Tear It Up too! And another one great (for me) example of such bridges from song to song is how they went from 'Put Out The Fire' into 'Dragon Attack'. It was cool!

geeeez... I never realized it... but it is true. It is Liar! :)

When I first heard Tear It Up (audio) at Wembley I thought it was Liar.
...this kettle is boiling over... ...one dump...one turd...two tits...John Deacon... ...one prawn...one shrimp...one clam...one chicken!

Well, what I notice everytime I hear Tear it Up (both live and studio) is just that is a utter-utter-utter-utterly shitty song!

Of course it's Liar. Just like the Starfleet bit after One Vision. How many times have you heard Wembley, twice?

Yes, absolutely right, there's a snippet of 'Liar' in there.

While on the subject, I seem to remember a fine medley at a 1984 gig with Liar, Great King Rat and Stone Cold Crazy... or did I just imagine it?!
