Educating the Public about Queen

As avid Queen fans, do you guys ever find yourself having to dispell common Queen myths?? Today, for example, I had to explain to a friend that all of Queen were not gay...

haha same here. it's almost like i'm preaching to them about Queen with all the shit that i know about them (instead of memorizing things i should really learn like what faraday's law is).

yep, my best friend I converted, funny thing is he used to be the biggest homophobe around until I started getting him into Queen.

i always have to tell people what songs are queen songs!! they always go to me "queens gay" and i correct them by saying "no, only the lead singer was" then when they say they hate their music, i always ask them if they like WWRY and all, and guess what they say? i love that song! f-wits...

Ah, yes. I almost always find myself explaining Queen to my peers, and sometimes even adults!

I converted my bf to Queen.

To date I have brought over 55 people into the Queen Fold.... Mostly young ones, I start with the obvious songs.. and when they are starting to listen closely I hit them with Queen 2, Sheer Heart Attack, The Game.. and Jazz.. that usually does it..

since i started univ (this autumn), i "queened" a new friend of mine - gave her queen and queen II to listen, my host family...:) the show is still going on
back home in romania people are so narrowminded when it comes to music that i was considered a freak...i still am considered crazily obsessed by queen, but...

I tell all my faggot friends not to make the same mistake like faggot Freddie did. How's that?
