Why doesn't Freddie interact with John Deacon

Ive watched a lot of Queen concerts including the new Queen On Fire concert, and i've noticed Freddie interacts with Brian and Roger regularly but never John, is there a reason for this?

My opinion is John is very shy and didn't want Freddie gallobanting around him in public.

I noticed that John hangs around Roger's drums a lot on stage. He bops around and they smile at each other...kinda cool.

If Freddie pisses John off, he definitely won't get paid, so Fred keeps his distance.

I've seen them interact a lot, too. So nothing to worry about.

By the way, it's natural that he steps onto Rogs drumriser a lot - Bass and Drums form the basis of the song, so they have to be tight and really understand each other without words. Being a bassist myself, I keep frequent eye-contact with our drummer as well.
John Paul Jones and Bonzo (watch "The song remains the same") are maybe the archetypical rock rythm-section, but John and Rog come close in terms of tightness.

I agree with Regor. The drummer and the bass guitarplayer must communicate more that the other instruments..

I would suggest that their relationship was perhaps stronger than any of the others in the band. John was the last member to join and, like Freddie, had not been around "since the beginning". If you look at early live shows, Freddie is constantly "playing" with John (which was a great way to alleviate John's shyness). When John felt more at ease on stage in later years, there was less need for the by-play between the two.

Add to that the fact that Queen were then playing more of John's songs which would also have given him more piece of mind.......

As for the archetypal rythm section, you need look no frther than Keith Moon and John Entwistle - the two greatest free-form players on their instruments that were soley responsible for grounding the most explosive band in history.

I agree with Benn. But remember almost every great rock band has to have the bass player in synch with the drummer that why JD always stood along side RT.

They had to play in synch otherwise the whole band would be "off".

John Deacon is shy, but he's such a nice person. Freddie doesn't quite often interact with John on stage. But they could find it well with each other. They went to Japan together on holiday, I believe and they wrote songs together ;-).

For me Queen consisted of 2 strong couples:

Roger and Brian
Freddie and John

Well, why don't you ask why doesn't John interact with Freddie??

But answering your question I'd say: maybe John didn't wanted it and asked Freddie about? I dunno, but why not?

er yes,and the stiffest interaction between Brian and John is during Dragon Attack, seen on the WWRY DVD. ;-))

well, i think he DOES interact with John... i mean, that "go, johnny, go!" thing....
