I hate to be poor!

I did look up pictures and I saw there picture by time when Brian were in Russia. I was so mad then that I couldnt go to see him, because it isnt very far from where I live. Just next country. And I remeber people who didnt understand why cant I go there. Yes, everyone has income and everyone has some money to make them dreams come true. But day by day I think about leaving school and start to sell myself, cause this is the work where coverment dosnt take away half of the income and maybe after that I can go after 20 years some kind of Brians or Rogers concert.
Damn, there should be no poor people or they should not have any change to any kind amusement!

Poor is such a horrible word, right up there with 'nice', 'normal', and 'cool'...they've come to have next to no meaning whatsoever. It's one thing to live below the poverty line and to be truly impoverished. It's quite another thing to simply not have the money for all the entertainment you'd like. I mean, I have to budget every week to see what foods I can buy. Once a month I allow myself to buy a new cd or book or shirt or something, but that's about all I can afford. But then, I don't just sit and mope about it: I try to complete one scholarship application every three to four days, and I have a job.

Now, I don't know what exactly your circumstances are, but I can promise that prostitution isn't the answer. I totally can empathize with your feelings of being unattractive: I just found out that the guy I still very much admired has a boyfriend. Aside from realizing it's going to be super awkward to explain to my parents that my ex-boyfriend has a boyfriend, it hurts to know that I'm the only person I know who isn't in a relationship. But then, that isn't a good reason for me to be in a relationship...Trying to find a guy because I want to feel pretty is stupid, because I'll go back to feeling ugly the moment he leaves. I'm most definitely NOT a prostitute, but I would imagine that it would be even worse to be one; living with the knowledge that the only guys who'll ever look at you don't care about YOU at all, just your body.

Or maybe you were just saying that because you felt really down...In any case, I actually feel better for saying all of this, so I hope you don't mind too much.

OK, I just want to let you all in on our little friend here, Kadri is ALWAYS depressed, I have known her for a while.. she always talks like this and in my opinion she is just seeking attention, I was just chatting with her in the chatroom when she started talking about needing help commiting suicide.. Now, all that tells me is that this girl needs help, not a boyfriend, and believe me when I say, I KNOW. I myself have a problem with dealing with issues. Now if she wants to knock off this Poor Me stuff, I would be willing to talk to her.. but she needs to stop with that self destructive talk, I REFUSE to listen to her anymore while she talks like that..

you're so poor yet you obviously have computer time and can make a website... i used to live in poland which isn't too far from estonia, 6 ppl in a 1 bedroom apartment. but i don't consider my childhood poor by any means and even tho i'm in the us now i'm 100% sure that there are higher education opportunities in estonia.. you just have to go get them and worry about that instead of where roger and brian's concert is.

You may want to consider, Kadri, that there are people that are in much worse circumstances than yourself. By your suggesting prostitution is the only way out of your "poor" lifestyle, that's just an insult to women that actually do resort to prostitution because they may have absolutely no other options.

Do you have a roof over your head? Do you have a bed to sleep in? Do you get to eat? Do you get to attend school? You may want to consider the good things that you DO have and not the things you do not get to have.

You may feel like you are the only one in this world with problems, but you're not.

Of course it's entirely up to you - hell, the money can be fantastic - but there are better ways of making money. I'm sure Estonia has McDonalds, BK etc. Work there. Finish school so you can get a real job and make money to move to a different country if you're that bothered. And don't sweat not being able to see Brian and Roger too much, really they're not what they were. (Not that I've seen them live either, New Zealand isn't exactly the hub of the live performance world but I'm told.)
