i think it is getting quite silly now, all we seem to do is fight each other ova really silly petty things,this is not the reason we were created, so y must everyone suffer for someonelses mistake!x

There are no winners in any war.
politics who has interest into this war are winners if the war isnt in their country and if their "side" wins. Like now USA against Iraq. If Iraq looses then everyone but USAs coverment will loose

We have to have war or else all those bullets & bombs we make will go rusty - and that would be a waste of money.
On the surface, that comes close to being a slightly practical statement. Which of course had me cracking up!

Haliburton is doing quite well. If Dick Cheney lives another 4 years, there's no doubt he'll see a fat paycheck.
The people we're going to put in power in Iraq will find themselves in a very nice position. They're certainly winners in that sense.
George Bush. He's a winner. He somehow convinced 51% of Americans that this was somehow a war about terrorism. He's sitting pretty for another 4 years.
Osama Bin Laden. He'll do OK. He'll find plenty of new recruits due to our prolonged occupation.
And there are plenty others.
There are always winners in a war. They are often the only reason we fight the wars we do. ;o)
