and another one...

English TV magician Paul Daniels - the one who sat next to Brian and Roger when they visited breakfast TV after Freddie died.

Oh no, Paul Daniels ! I grew up watching him. They showed him on the CBC every week.

And honestly - now that it's come out that Keith Emerson committed suicide due to online bullying, there's a part of me that wants this thread to be deleted. It really is an awful thing to exist, even though we're all contributing to it in jest.

Sad news! And people who bullyed him were some of his so called fans!!

This thread is just harmless fun, but Queenzone and Queenonline became places where people can freelly bully Brian, Roger and specially Adam Lambert and fellow forum users (lamberts and Queen fans who support the tour) without consequence.

I say ... let them live with their consciousness - both the bullys and the Administrators for allowing such behaviour.

P.S. - I said that this thread is just harmless fun, but in recent times i never had the "courage" to join in with some "dark humour" jokes, so probably there´s a part of me who feels bad that this thread exists also.

I can understand how more sensitive people can feel bad about this.
Maybe it´s better to clean this forum a bit and just delet it? Just a thought.

I never liked this thread, never posted here before. I have a dark sense humour and i don't have any problem to share it with friends.

But writting these kind of things in a public forum where anyone can read them, most probably out of context...

...I'm not sure is the best way to spend the time. Of course it shouldn't be prohibited either, as people should have freedom of speech.

The best will be if finally people understand how useless and pernicious is to write these kind of material and move on into something more useful.

Load of bull. This thread is what's left of QZ's heydey.
This thread is preposterous and obviously a parody on online conspiracy theories. If you take this thread down, the terrorists win! :D

Meh...with all the respect I `ve got...but seriously.
If an adult man, with a reputation like him, took a gun and shot himself because of shit that happens online...if that`s the case, he was mental instable before, or he was dealing with other problems like alcohol / drugs etc. simultaniously.

^That's right.

Online bullying, death of someone close, being fired, etc., are never the root cause of suicide. They might be the aggravating factor, but the root cause is always a more ingrained psychological issue.

Online bullying is a big issue, but this thread is nothing like that. As far as I know, I myself have never participated in this thread, but everyone here is just making witty jokes which are definitely not meant as a sign of disrespect. The people mentioned here have died, nothing will bring them back, and a joke is a way of injecting levity into the situation. We're all going to die - I hope someone cracks a few jokes at my funeral.

But i agree that this topic is harmless despite the fact that i don´t feel confortable posting in it.
I always write having in mind that Brian, Roger and John or any other artist mentioned in my post can read what i write. That´s why i always try to be as positive as i can towards artists.

^Thanks for the Link

The Headline is pointing into the direction that he shot himself because of that bulliying...true. But in the course of the article the writer mentioned drug habits and his chronic nerval disease...so the foundation was there...or better...the online or so called Cyber-bullying was the straw to break the camel`s back.

No more, no less.

^ I just found out that Brian May (pun) be responsible for the death of a Charles Spencer Chaplin!

Right in line are ELP and the Stones. ... this is all very frightening.
Since you predicted that one, we should start a new thread called "Matt Z's curse."

This latest one is easy:

Keith Emerson -> Carl Palmer -> Asia -> Steve Howe -> Innuendo album -> Brian
You know. ... I'm a little upset that I "predicted" that one. Looks like I'll probably be right about the Stones one too... Damn these infernal powers. :-/

It ruins a lot of films for me too!

Before someone does a rude one about this charming, talented man: The Purple Yoda.

Prince Rogers Nelson.

Praise from Brian May *(in attendance, worked with Michael Jackson; MJ onstage with James Brown and Prince. Go find it).

I'm aggrieved. I fucking LOVE Prince.
