My first thought is genuinely about this thread when I hear about celebrity deaths.
All the people who could've gone in 2016. Abs from Five. J from Five. The other three from Five. Dappy. Kerry. Britney. But no, Bowie and George.
Like Prince, I couldn't bear to be the one to contribute to this forum upon hearing about George Michael. It's sad, he'd been topical a few months ago on this forum. I knew he was pretty heavy at this point but didn't think he'd just die.

Hopefully, it was "natural causes".

Aside from "JAWS was never my scene, and I don't like STAR WARS" I can't imagine the Carrie Fisher connection, UNLESS it was transmitted to Ellen 'Degenerate' ;)via Adam Lambert....

much as Brian loves Star Wars.... do we know of him meeting the cast?

Fucking exactly.

Carrie snogged George Lucas in Hook; Lucas threatened to sue the band for dressing up a bodyguard as Vader for the encore. Done.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.
Debbie Fisher's gone now as well. .

...I suspect it had something to do with the whole George Lucas/Ellen Degeneres/Gene Kelly's friendship with Groucho Marx (*for whom Queen performed for in 1976)

Very sad. I've always loved Singin' In The Rain... it's probably the only musical that's bearable out there. (aside from MEET THE FEEBLES, THE HAPPINESS OF THE KATAKURIS)

it's beyond bearable, it's a fantastic FILM.

OVEREND WATTS

Pretty direct that one.
John Hurt was in 1984.
Geoff Nicholls..... When Death Calls.....nuff said.

[dramatically]

My... GOD (!) what a horrible proposition; ALL of us by extension??!!

I've attended concerts!

I've attended book signings!

I saw them at the Hollywood walk of fame induction!

why. ... by extension, that practically means. ...
that means. .... THE WHOLE WORLD!!!!!

I had thought it only affected music luminaries

I think you're being dramatic.
