Post Counts

After reading Lesters rant, I have come to the same conclusion as everyone else. The reason for the massive increase in banal posts is all down to folk trying to increase their post count.
I don't know about anyone else but I couldn't gine a tinkers cuss how many posts I have made since joining Queenzone and it wouldn't bother me in the slightest if they disappeared altogether.
Does anyone else feel that protective of their post count and if not, is there any way Richard or Barbera could get rid of them?
I'm not making demands or anything. It's just something to consider.

I was wondering that myself a long time ago. Lately, I have been very cautious of my "ridiculous" posts trying not to be too bad. The reason why my posts were horrible was cos I was using them as a conversation.. it's not entirely cos they were "thoughtless." But anyhow, I would love to see the post count go.

Abolish it. For equality and advancement.
Somebody should definitely work full time as Queenzone's spam blocker or whatever you call that.

Couldnt agree with you more Fatty. And while we are at it, why dont they do away with all that "marquee" scrolling text shit as well?

Instead of post counts, why don't we "grade" or "categorize" posters on their behavior in the boards? It works pretty well in the other forum I post in.

I don't think it has anything to do with post counts...just private conversations on a public board I assume. People will still post massive amounts of things without the post counter just to keep things moving on the board; I try to keep things moving as well. Also, people like to have their opinions heard.

It can't be denied that some *cough* Hem *cough* here pay attention to post count, considering they have posted topics about how many they have gotten, etc, etc...

I think the vast majority of us don't really care whether or not we have a post count...I see nothing wrong with abolishing them, certainly.

Bring back the "Registered since *insert date here* feature.

they might even leave and go to another board that would have post counts....

I like to look at my post number, but it wouldn't matter if they were taken off.
