Have there been any good Queen covers?? Metallica did an awful version of Stone Cold Crazy, thats for sure.
hmm...haven't thought much about the best covers, i haven't heard the best ones. I've heard the worst, I've got a great list of that. I won't list them, but let's just say Robbie Williams, Bad News, and William Hung top the list lol
I went to see a tribute band named the works oct 2003 with Gary Mullen (stars in there eyes winner) as the singer and it was terrific. The vocals were pretty close to Freddies and the Guitarist was an amazing player. I bought a cd of them not to long ago entitled The Works One Night Of Queen.
The Scorpions did a very good version of Love of my Live.
My future cover of 'Hammer To Fall' is going to be awesome. But, I LOVE George Michael's live rendition of 'Somebody To Love' with Queen. ;)
