I don't know why people get p*ssed off just because they play WWRY/WATC. They certainly played it more times when Freddie was around and I don't anyone complained then...
However, my asumption is, because they're arn't lots of these appearances, people would rather they make the most out of the situation by playing something more 'interesting'? Well, hopefully a tour would rectify that and that's where our view on the whole "should they/shouldn't they" situation would be more constructive.

You should know by now... some people here will always find something to complain about when it comes to new things.
Have finally seen for the first time and it's the best thing Queen have done since the tribute. Paul Rodgers has the 2nd greatest ever voice in rock so is a fitting singer. He doesn't try to do a song exactly the way Freddie did. The whole thing got me more excited than anything since Made In Heaven.
As for the person who said Paul Rodgers wouldn't be able to handle the balads they obviously know nothing of Paul's other songs with Free and Bad Company. E.g. Don't Say You Love Me, Feel Like Making Love, Lying In The Sunshine etc
Live I'd certainly rather hear him doing a slightly different version of Who Wants to Live Forever than Brian struggling to sing and play at the same time.
Call it Queen + Paul Rodgers and do half Queen and half Free/Bad Company
Noone else needed to sing.

Forgot to mention I was lucky enought to see Brian and Paul R play together at Wembley for the Strat Pack gig. They were great then too, the highlight of the night.

In case you are referring to me, let me stress that I didn't complain about the "new things", i.e. their collaboration with Rodgers and the unfamiliar song, but mainly about the choice and way of interpreting WWRY and WATC.
Okay, it was a HOF induction, I see they had to play those. My problem is they ALWAYS play almost ONLY those songs, and still after 27 years, and behave as if they were still as exciting as in 1986 or earlier, while they are clearly not FOR ME.
While some people seem to be exaggeratedly enthusiastic, some others are countervailing it with (exaggeratedly) gloating comments. That must be allowed, it's not only about finding something to complain about. It also isn't terribly difficult to find something to complain about.
Finally, I would appreciate listening to new material of BriRog and PR, but I obviously don't see the signs you see yet that this might happen in the near future.
