Yes, I know I've already replied to this, but I'm backing up iGSM and saying John McCrea is a great singer. I just saw Cake in concert on Thursday, and the band sounded amazing. :) And sticking to the rules, so is Alice Cooper. I love his voice.

Meat Loaf, everything he has done is great!
André Hazes, Dutch singer who unfortunatly died some time ago. He wrote very nice songs, I recognize a lot of myself in his songs. And his voice was very beautiful and powerfull. His music just gets me everytime (snif).

You can't discuss on tastes, I like what I like. If you are jealous, just admit it, don't be pathetic. I don't think you have ever listened to Hazes 'cause what you are saying is not correct, except for the alcolism, I agree :-)
Justin Currie (Del Amitri) and Annie Lennox (the Eurythmics).
I'm obviously in a Scottish mood today...

Well, I've listened again to André Hazes but I have to say that, to me, it is still getting better. Perhaps the songs are simple (simplicity fits me) but according to my ears there is nothing wrong with his voice. But I'm not a professional so I can be wrong. Fact is: I still like him and I don't think that will change. No matter what sophisticated explanation you give to it. But if you don't like him, fine. :-)
