I am from Australia, so I can get in first (it is already Nov 24th here).
Just a different way to remember him, I wondered if people had ideas on what our dear Freddie would be doing had he lived longer - would he still be with Queen, going solo, or maybe producing music for others?
Or would he have had a solo career in the opera or ballet? I think he could have really developed something more in the operatic area. But I don't think he would have left Queen totally ("We're going to be together until we F***** well die!!" - remember that?)
What ideas do others have? It is just another interesting way to reflect on his life. Thanks

If Freddie would still be alive, Queen would have probably followed the path of most bands who have been together for over 20 years, and make one album every 5, 6, or 7 years.

He'd probably get arrested for cruising public restrooms, just like George Michael
I think he would have done more with dancing and opera and I think he would have made a movie. Not sure what else. Whatever he was doing, it would surely be BIG and fabulous
He would be a male strip artist.
Enjoying life, lovers and friends, also making music.
-He whould have recorded an album with Aretha Franklin
-And Queen would still be together, and make an album every 3 years.
-They whould've been a MTV-Icon
-There wouldn't be a WWRY musical

i think he would be doing everything that he was doing in the 80s!!! getting laid and high!!!
Probably being f*cked in the ass by a big hairy man

I'm not so sure. I seem to recall that Brian has stated that the discussions about a Queen musical began when Freddie was alive. I think he would have loved the idea!

I don't think there would've been a musical, but only because I believe that if he'd lived, they'd have kept making music as Queen and therefore there wouldn't have been the time available to produce the musical in the way they wanted. Look at how involved Brian is. He (and maybe Fred too)probably would've wanted to have the kind of input Brian has now, and therefore it wouldn't have been viable, as the albums would come first.
I firmly believe that Fred only stopped touring due to his HIV status and that if he hadn't become positive, they'd still be recording and touring and giving the Stones a run for their money as the oldest rockers (but doing it better of course!).
Spending money on more Japanese treasures, adding to his cat collection (or "family"), getting the koi pond working properly, and probably living in another country due to high taxes in England.
And recording and trying out new sounds, don't forget that! I wonder if he would have wanted to produce a group or single artist?
