Just a question:

is there any picture of Freddie where he has a moustache only (not the additional beard) after the Great Pretender Video??

(As I remember in this video he has it in the first part and in the second part he shaved it.)

When he shaved his moustache for the video he never left it grow later.

I'm probably being silly asking this question but when freddie was ill and he grew his stubble was it his real stubble or a fake one. If this question makes me look like a prat please DONT say so.

real stubble

I never liked that, it looked like his face was dirty!

I do know that on the single cover for "The Great Pretender", he had the moustache, but for the album cover (the Hollywood Records re-issue of Mr. Bad Guy in 1991), he was clean-shaven.

crazy isn't it

I don't know why so many people refer to the "The Great Pretender" album as a reissue of "Mr Bad Guy", When it isn't. Not only is it missing some tracks, The ones that ARE there are remixes.

I refer to it as the re-issue to Mr. Bad Guy because it really is. Sure, they dropped some songs, added some others, and ruined it. Call it a butchering if you must.

But Mr. Bad Guy is no longer in print, so it's evident enough to say that this is the re-issue of said album, just worse.

Great Pretender is not a reissue of Mr Bad Guy. Much of it's source material is from that album, but there's not one song included that is in it's original form from that album.
