Ha ha ha, this is quite clearly a complete pile of tosh! Anyone who has seen the original footage from the TV show The Tube will spot this. In Fat Bottomed Girls, when singing the lo in locality, Freddie sings completely out of tune, yet somehow in On Fire: Live at the Bowl, he nails it perfectly!
Apologies if someone else has already pointed this out.
Well, Brian pointed it out pre-release, and there have been at least two discussions as to whether that counts as an overdub or an edit.

Although one of them may have been on QOL.
I noticed that too, and the other discrepancies on the second disc as well.
Hahaha! Overdub or edit, really stupid. Ofcourse, Freddie's parts cannot be overdubbed so techincially its an edit, so technically its getting away with it! Hehehe... good stuff...
"Freddie would have loved it" - Brian May
The edit in FBG must have come from a different show just like what Pink Floyd did on Pulse. On the Pulse CD and video, some bum noted were fixed with solos lifted in from other shows and/or edited down. KISS on the other hand re-recorded Alive in the studio as it was a studio album with live crowd noises!
"Spread your wings and fly away, fly away, far away!", "No one makes me sing lullabies and no one makes me close my eyes"
I just listened to it. It's pretty hilarious how out of key he is.
