Hey

I had the same exact problem at first. You need to get a file converter. the best one I found is on www.download.com then search for something called "DB power amp". Download and install that. Then just right click on the file that you want to convert and you should have an option of "convert file" and then just do it from there

if it's not on the menu then just open the converter and select the files manually

you may need to download a FLAC codec but the program will do it for you, you just have to press 'ok'

thats the easiest converter i have found to use

you just need to convert your FLACs to MP3s

email me or post again if you need some help, i'd be happy to

I've never had any problems converting to MP3s. as long as i have the song i'm fine. all i'm ever going to do is listen to it or burn it to a cd.
i've heard a lot of talk about how bad MP3s are but i really haven't noticed a difference in quality. when it comes to a concert bootleg, i'm not too picky on sound quality, it's never going to be perfect

Thanks for all the help Journeyfan...lifesaver, i was having a fit trying to figure that crap out...

As far as converting to MP3 vrs. Wav won't WAV take up alot more space? I'll figure it out, thanks a million.

actually I don't know why all the music is encoded in flac. I know flac is lossless, but in consideration of the quality of the bootlegs it's questionable to use flac... it generates a lot of internet traffic for a reasonable quality bootleg...
a ogg-vorbis on a high bitrate would be in my eyes much better way to go.. but it's up to the creator of this site.. and i appreciate his service...
thanks
