has anyone seen the musical?

does freddie's voice ever appear in show?, and again, Does brian try to hog up the show with only his songs, like queen rocks, i'v been noticing brian doin that, queen rocks brought that to my attention, one freddie song, where was liar, orge battle, there was plenty of freddie he could have put on that album, i hope it's mixture of all their songs.

Freddie's voice appears in the beginning singing Innuendo, right before the curtain goes up. I think that's the same in other versions, but I've only seen the the Las Vegas show. Anyway, looking at the WWRY London CD, the setlist is pretty varied. There are a few songs from John and Roger (Another One Bites The Dust, Radio Ga Ga, These Are The Days Of Our Lives, etc.) but the majority are Brian and Freddie's, both of who have about the same number of songs as the other.

that's good to know, since they were (Fred and Brian)were equally great in songwriting, and i also love the fact freddie's voice is heard, even if it's only the begining. good stuff.

i thought it was great....and i dont really like musicals...they kinda, ah, whats the word? oh yeah-- suck arse! yes, i see the logic in everyone in the cast breaking into song and oh my god! they know the words!

of course, WWRY is like that, and someone said it as cheesy in places. It is, but they kind of turned it around so they were mocking the fact that it was cheesy... if that makes any sense at all.

All in all, it was a great show!

i saw the musical in vegas back in october and almost walked out.the music is great.the band does a great job,and the singing is excellent.the script on the other hand should have been burned after it was read the first time.i felt embarrassed for the actors,because of some of the lines they had to say.if you can ignore the story and just listen to the music you will enjoy it.

I have once, it was absolutely blinding. It's probably the best show I've ever seen. Great cast, great band, great characters, great choice of Queen songs. Musicals wouldn't be the same without it. It's great that Queen's music is brought into the 21st Century. It's such a shame that Nigel Planner (Neil the hippy from The Young Ones) is not doing it anymore. I want to see it again.

I was at the American premiere in September in Vegas....brilliant!!!! Yes, the story is a bit weak, but of course the music,the choreography and alot of the comedy make up for it. Some of the jokes in the American version are really funny!

i think there focusing a little to much on this show, i mean, the box sets are second to the musical, any new music and the possibility of a freddie movie is second to the musical, but if your talking about legacies i think the musical is a great idea, it's a good way to get new people into queens music.

No, I have not.
I really want to, but considering that I don't even have enough money for the nosebleed sections doesn't make my chances any better. I hear it is simply wonderful, which makes me more upset at the fact that I CAN'T see it.

I went in August, and what can I say, it blew my breath away! For the earlier question, Freddie's voice is used in Innuendo for the London performance as well! I loved the London performance, and as someone interested in theatrical production, I was amazed by the idea, not only of 6 MASSIVE LCD screens, but also the dynamiscism of how they moved! They really made the show for me. It definately does the music justice! And it's important to remember: Britney Spears died to save us. (You'll get that if you saw London, I don't know about anywhere else.) The soundtrack CD is well edited, with vocal excerpts and flowing nicely. All in all, the best musical I ever saw. What do people think the best song was? For me it's a choice of five:
*Innuendo - It makes a GREAT opening number.
*I Want It All - Great introduction to the Bohemians and a cool song that's well arrannged.
*Hammer to Fall - What can I say?!
*We Will Rock You - WOW! ("Hello Wembley!" - We haven't heard that line for a while, and it won't be the same with a new stadium! :'()
and of course...
*Bohemian Rhapsody - Wouldn't be complete without it! Duh
and I'll leave you with my favourite quote:
"I'm a roady, and a groupy! I have to have sex with myself! Oh! No change there then!"

i saw the abba musical in vegas and i loved it even though i was never a huge fan of abba, so i would probably be in heaven watching wwry.

i loved Pop, and we had the britney spears line too (in australia). we also had john farn-cant spell his name instead of paul mccartney. And the SCG (a stadium in sydney) instead of wembley...though wembley got a mention

and someone said that the script was crap...no it wasnt!! ben elton is a great author!! i love him (and his live performances in australia)

Seen it twice- first time with Tony Vincent and... DIDN'T LIKE IT- his voice didn't suite the songs IMO- but I loved Hannah Fox- I agree, she's the star of the whole thing. Than I've seen it recently with the other guy doing the lead (sorry, but don't know the name!) and it was BRILLIANT!!! I really enjoyed it, had a tear or two during "No-One But You" and sang my lungs off during WWRY / WATC (and I DON'T LIKE THOSE TWO :) )

It's worth seeing, really.

i guess hanna fox is in the london show?, and ben elton is obviously great, he's worked with elton john on his show.
