Thats it!

Chicken should be the main attraction at live aid. Because not only are they soooo friggin cool, but they could serve as food dishes for the hungry. Woo.
Cheers

Well, I'm only 16, so I can't really talk about the original event. But my parents were there, in Wmbley Stadium on that day, and they said it was an awesome experience. If Queen did something, and U2, and perhaps if some talented yet unsigned bands were dug out, then maybe we could see a recreation that summers afternoon? It'd need proper organisation, and with modern technology, concerts could take place all around the world over the course of that day? How cool would it be to have a world fighting poverty through music? I'd back it!

You know my thoughts on this matter is that from what I have been gathering from my nosing around looking for things about Queen, it seems to me that these guys are in fact getting Old, Tired, and have contributed GREATLY to Many Causes. As a GREAT QUEEN would, and I think that what they want to happen in that matter should happen but I also think that they should take it easy!

LONG LIVE THE QUEEN-ette!

please, no more live aids, one is enough.

Hmm if they could organise it well enough and include some great acts, old and new, it would be a great chance for me to see some cool bands..

Well as long as the following people play:

U2
Oasis
Macca
Stones
Darkness
Bon Jovi
Scissor Sisters
Queen

Although some of those are doubtful.

Queen should play:

I Want It Aall
Radio Ga Ga
The Show Must Go On
Rock You
Champions

We will prob only see Ga Ga, Rock You and champs thought. But I don't mind too much. As long as I see Queen on stage with the whole world watching once again, I'll be happy. And I don't care what anyone says, they will still have the best songs, sound and performance of the day even without Frederick. 'Coz Bri and Rog are the best! Hence the overwhelming amount of votes they got in the Hall Of Fame rubbish. Miles ahead of the rest apparently.

Whether the line ups sucks or the feeling isn't the same isn't really the point. If there is a Live Aid 2 the purpose is to raise money, not to be some kind of cultural milestone. The magic may not be there, but it would still be an event.

I can think of a ton of acts that could be there and totally rock. I think Live Aid 2 would be great

I thought Brian also said that he would not want to do Live Aid again, and said "we shall leave it to the young ones this time"?? I hope he does not do that - as I think if it was just the current performers and such, then the older audience would not bother to watch it, and thus this could result in the loss of those donations. It seems many donated on impulse whilst watching the show on the day?
But I think it should not just be the older bands we might love (such as Stones, Queen and such) - but the younger ones should be there, and even if we don't like the modern performers such as Britney, Anastacia (I like her though), Beyonce, or who-ever - it does not matter at all, so long as they are there and draw the audience in - the whole thing is they donate their time, and if it pleases the young and older audiences alike, then this is good.
I don't think too many teenagers would be interested in watching Queen - (I am speaking in a general sense here) but if you have the young acts on, then they will turn on the TV dial to check it out, and hopefully donate a few pennies too. So you really need to have a balance of the older acts we love and the younger ones. I heard that Madonna is going to do it again if they do a Live Aid 2 - and love or hate her - it don't matter, she is a big draw card for people to watch the event, as is Britney etc - who all have big fan bases. Just coz it might not be our taste don't matter, the thing is that it gets the biggest viewing audience and raises mega-bucks.
That is afterall the whole point of the excerise yes??

Pink Floyd would play in a heartbeat. Drummer Nick Mason said Pink Floyd will reunite if another Live Aid happens and definitely David Gilmour and Rick Wright will play and Nick hopefully will persuade Roger Waters into playing.

Pink Floyd(David Gilmour would do it again, Nick Mason has stated "I like the idea of reforming for something enormously worthwhile such as another Live Aid or its equivalent" and Rick Wright would play)
The Who
Rolling Stones
Rush
Queen with Paul Rodgers
Judas Priest
The Darkness
Iron Maiden
anyone but Britney, in fact Britney's career is toast!
