I distinctivley remember Andrew Lloyd Webber mentioning that he wanted Freddie to have played The Phantom in a future Phantom Of The Opera movie shortly after his death.
Anybody else rember this?
I guess we'll have to settle for Gerard Butler instead.
Like Madonna in Evita, Freddie would have pulled it off as it's singing all the way through and no spoken dialogue.

He'd've been good with all the prancing about and singing...unless he started to improv. with the crowd and ended up saying 'Fuck you!' to thousands of upper class people.
But yes. I concur.

yea, fred would have done this movie justice, but if he was alive he would be a bit to old, he would have been close to 60.
I think Freddie would have been fantastic.
Yep, too old for the world I think. But for me, he'd've been the best.
