I can't even listen to 'Imagine' anymore because 'A Perfect Circle' has totally destroyed such a time classic.

I think this is one of the worst cover songs ever, and it's a lot worse than the average bad attempts to remake a classic song.

RIP John.. but could you please call off your dog.. I mean It was bad enough when you were alive to have to put up with Yoko.. But now? sigh... wish you were still here... that way YOU could have made a guest appearance on The Simpsons.. Oh well...

Well, they've had three out of four Beatles on the Simpsons. Brian May still hasn't had even a look in.

Brian and I discussed the Simpsons in our e-mails to each other last year. Shame the original e-mail is long gone and only survives on a DVD+R disc I saved it to (bad thing, cos I don't have Internet for the time being at home, unfortunately).

I remember Brian saying he was "green with envy" when he saw Aerosmith on The Simpsons, and something else about "it couldn't have happened in Freddie's lifetime", whatever that meant.

Hehe, I remember that e-mail!!! I didn't know it was you at the time but yes, I remember it very well.

AND

He or Roger or even better BOTH of them should go on The Simpsons!! I mean, c'mon, if N*SYNC can be on the Simpsons, there's no way they shouldn't.

exactly.. I agree 100%

I think they should work the WWRY thing into the Simpsons.. and have Brian there casting Otto for the lead guitar.. and have Marge sing Killer Queens role.. lol

'A Perfect Circle' came up with an album full of covers of classic songs about peace, hope, and a better future.

Yet when you listen to their album you rather feel like putting a bullet through your head, than doing something to change the world.

I have an idea! the Simpsons could go to the musical in LV and meet Brian May there. That would be way cool, maybe Brian could even get the producers to put an ad for WWRY the flashed between every frame. So that people wouldn't notice it, but after watching the show they would have an irresitable urge to see the musical.
