Profile emails

When I first joined this site - you could include your e-mail address as part of your profile. If you wanted to share that address you could tick the "make available" box.

If you wanted to keep that address private - you just ticked the "keep hidden" box.

My point is that the choice was mine.

Now, I would like to contact a few members on here - but there is no way of doing so as their email addresses are not part of their profile anymore.

So what do you guys think? Should the e-mail part be reinstated?

Try using the old style forum ( http://www.queenzone.com/queen/forum/ ) - you can still access any profiles with email addy's in them. Hope that helps

i took mine out a long long time ago

when a former zoner crossed the line by sending me a email with threats against my kids..

since that time-- no spam ... unlike others

those who want to email me that do not have my address ususally will go through someone else....

i can see the benefit of someone wanting to post their email addy..... i learned my lesson on that a long time ago....

It'll be an email harvester's joy.

Good grief, you are still mad at me for that? ;-)

I agree as well.. If people want to email each other they need to find a way.. but not posting email addys on here.. too much can happen..

I still use the old board, but watch out then. If you try to post a new topic you have to use the new one. Otherwise your topic will not be shown in the new board.

My e-mail is in the profile if you want to talk :)

Yeah I liked having it visable by choice... I suppose if there was anyone you wanted to email you could just ask them...?

I'm not sure someone is interested in my e-mail address, but anyway here it is: [email protected]
