Yesterday evening, Dimebag Darrell (former Pantera) was shot death on stage. During a concert of his band Damageplan in Columbus, Ohio, some crazy bastard jumped on stage, and just shot Darrell, and 4 others. The shooter was shot dead by the police immediately.
Just completely shocked. How can something like this happen....... Really unbelievable shit.... :'(

I wasn't a Pantera fan myself, but some of my friends back when I was in High School were real hard-core fans. We would have mosh pits inside the bus during school trips while listening Pantera.

Well, I didn't care too much for their music either, but definately respect the work he's done with Pantera (Cowboys from hell is a classic).
Also a very good guitar player, maybe not the most technical one around, but still he deserves respect for his playing.

No artist deserves to be shot, not even Toby Keith... although I think Toby Keith should be sent to Iraq and fight for what he believes in instead of cashing in on false patriotism.
