Hi, I'm Holly, I'm American. I'd just like to say that Queen is my most favorite band, Freddie is my hero, and not everyone here shares the same feelings as the Americans who are in control of the media. I'd also like to say that I am very proud to be living in the state of Massachusetts where gay marriage is being debated and most of the people in this very liberal state are for it.
Yes my country is gaining the reputation as a very homophobic nation, but what our country's legislature decides as far as gay marriage goes doesn't affect you so you can lay off as well.

I agree it sucks. I dont like the way they take the piss out of Freddie because of his sexuality. But i dont suppose its going to change so we'll have to get used to it. My whole class at school are irritating because evry time i'm checkin out the new pics on Queenzone they switch the computer off and moan at me because he's old and gay. I cant stand those people. Can any of you? I pisses me right off. I agree not every has to like him but i still think there out of order to be honest. Do any of you agree?

I agree .... it`s not only a problem in America.
When I went to school in Austria in the early 90s I had the same problems, of course there were many pupils (especially girls, hehe) who liked Queen, but there was the same amount of students who really hated Queen (especially with Heavy Metal and Death Metal in its prime back then).
But today some of them (now being 27 or 28 years old) say to me they were wrong then.

And it does seem ironic that he actually LOST the first term but WON the second. Damn that electoral college.
What sorta irritates me is that the Rolling Stones had a bisexual lead singer as well, and all of the Stones dressed in drag occasionally, yet they're not seen as a "gay band." There's nothing different about Queen, except the name.
I'm an American and love Queen.I could care less about the bands sexual prefrence .I'm a fan of good rock n' roll.Period.Sexual preference is a personal issue.I think it wrong to stereotype people based on the country they live in.I also think we are all created equal and no human has the right to judge another.Just my humble opinion
