Ah, I can't wait for this! I love the book, And I liked "Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory" as well. I remember that Michael Keaton was rumored to play Wonka in this new one, And as much as I like Depp, I would've rather seen him.

I saw it earlier today. That wig is just not right. But it could be interesting. The books were great and I love the original film.

Not really gothic... this new movie seems to be more humoruos the the 1971 version with Gene Wilder.

I saw this on the television the other day and was thrilled; I love tim Burton and Johnny Depp and I'm not afraid to say that I CAN NOT stand the original.
I think the wig is perfect for the style... I cant wait to see the other costumes...eeee~~~

I like Johnny Dep but, I think Gene Wilder made the better Willy Wonka...but it seems like everyone is getting on the bandwagon for gothic children's movies...

I am sure I'll always like the original better. I've never been too big on Tim Burton's stuff to begin with. But this isn't to mean that the new version won't be good.
