Actually the name of that album is 'Songs About Jane', and although many people thought it came out in 2003, it actually did go out in late 2002.

Being Maroon 5 an unknown indie band, it took them a while to be able to hit the mainstream.

Well, since you've put such a large list it's hard to come up with more. Gwen Stefani's new single is her worst yet, though her album might be good, I dont know. Franz Ferdinads Take Me Out is a great song and album...probably Maroon 5 or Green Day.

The new Gwen Stefani album might be doing better if they weren't releasing the worst of the album as singles. 'What You Waiting For' and 'Rich Girl' are just atrocious, so it wouldn't surprise me if they picked 'Harajuku Girls' as the next single.

The album has become nothing but a promo for her new fashion line, and seriously we have enough of that crap with people like P.Diddy, Celine Dion, Hillary Duff, and J.Lo.
It just makes music sound blatant and ignorant, because it just simply puts the music to a second view, and it puts image first.

Can't wait for the next 'No Doubt' album.

"I dont know any of the other new GS songs but What you waiting for? is TERRIBLE!"

- Yeah, I understood that quite clearly when you said it the first time. Oh, and the second and third.

'On Fire' is not a brand new studio album,
it's a live album from a 1982 performance.

If there's anything Queen related to include that might probably be the songs 'Invincible Hope' or 'The Call'. Both great. Although they are more 2003 than 2004.

2004 is almost over, and sure it was full of a lot of crappy music. Jessica Simpson and Hillary Duff made their sisters stars, while Lindsay Lohan prooved to be a worse singer than an actress.

Yet still 2004 brought some good music, believe it or not. At least kinda better than what we've seen in previous years.

ALBUMS
1. Muse - Absolution
2. American Idiot - Green Day
3. Franz Ferdinand
4. Contraband - Velvet Revolver
5. Alicia Keys - The Diary Of Alicia Keys
6. Keane - Hopes and Fears
7. Joss Stone - Mind Body And Soul
8. George Michael - Patience
9. Duran Duran - Astronaut
10. R Kelly - Happy People/U Saved Me

SONGS
1. Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out
2. Muse - Time Is Running Out
3. U2 - Vertigo
4. Muse - Sing For Absolution
5. Float On - Modest Mouse
6. Keane - Somewhere Only We Know
7. Velvet Revolver - Slither
8. This Love - Maroon 5
9. It's My Life - No Doubt
10. Destiny's Child - Lose My Breath (This song is just damn catchy... and it always reminds me of how hot Beyonce looks on the video *sigh*)

So go ahead, and pick your best

Muse - Absolution came out in 2003 though. Well, at least in Europe. But it is a masterpiece which I would even consider the best album of the last 2 years... or maybe even 3 or 4 years... fantastic stuff!

My this year's list isn't long though...

1. The Streets - A Grand Don't Come For Free
2. U2 - How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb
3. Green Day - American Idiot
4. Keane - Hopes And Fears
5. Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand
6. Graham Coxon - Happiness In Magazines

My favourite singles this year:

1. Dry Your Eyes - The Streets (MY song of the year!)
2. Somewhere Only We Know - Keane
3. Vertigo - U2
4. Misunderstood - Robbie Williams
5. American Idiot - Green Day
6. Open Letter To New York City - Beastie Boys
7. Take Me Out - Franz Ferdinand
8. My Boo - Usher ft. Alicia Keys
9. What's Your Number - Cypress Hill
10. ....

can't think of anything else at the moment...

Again a year that didn't offer much in terms of good music me thinks...

But looking at my singles list, I seem to be getting more and more into hip hop and r'n b....
I should start thinking about that...

Did Scott look hot? YES. Did he look healthy? You're right, he hasn't in years, but I find his look hot. So... yes. He looked healthy. :D

Franz Ferdinand is one of the albums of the year without doubt, absolutely brilliant. Michael is my favourite on the album, but pretty much all of it is great, and even better live.

Hey Janet and Miss James (not used to that name, I wrote Alli about four times first). Yeah, i'm keeping real good thanks. Hope the same apply's to you guys, well gals!

Wow... eggy... There's a name I haven't seen here in QUITE some time. :|
