Threads started on the old board cannot be seen on the new board. If you answer to an existing thread from the old board, your name does not appear as "last poster" on the new board but your message does.
It's perfectly possible to create an "old board" community excluding all users of the new board who never come back here...

The trouble is that on the old board we'll always be able to see all the tripe that gets posted on the new board.
