According to Galileo on Queenonline.com's forum, there will be any additionnal guitarist / drummer.
Great news I think !
Brian + Roger + Paul + Spike + Gail Ann sounds more like a rock band than 3 drummers, 2 guitarists (even though I love Eric Singer & Jamie)...
My only fear is about backing vocals singers : they sucks. I never liked Fabba girls, they're ridiculous and hideous.

5 at most, so add Spike to the list (I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for John)...
No background singers, no extra guitarists or drummers. 5 has always been enough.
I also hope Tie Your Mother Down will be WITHOUT piano (unlike Amsterdam 2002), it makes that song too pop. And the female background singers are terrible... Queen is a rock band for God's sake!

I'd prefer just Brian, Roger, Paul, and Gail, preferably John, but I don't really expect miracles. Bri and Rog can do the backing vocals. That right there would be wonderful.

I Just want Paul, Brian, Roger, Gail and who ever the bassist will be and spike. 5 is enough. And i hope they don't use those shitty backing singers like they do at party at the palace or other recent concerts.

I also seriously hope they DONT do the backing singer thing - that will suck big time.
Hopefully "Bri" will read the MANY postings online from the fans and get the hint that we DONT want the Queen sound ruined by backing singers.

We could say what we want, but the backing singers are going to be there. And the extra drummer to help Roger (like on the 46664 concert). Like some big family on stage... :'( It sucks, Queen has not been a rock band since 1986 and I'm afraid it never will be again...
And btw Brian doesn't read this postings, the only way to contact him is by mailing him.

I think background singers are a GREAT idea -the boys wouldnt hire the singers if they thought there voices were still good enough - plus with this old geezer paul rodgers, you need some young sexy pipes.......

The thing that would be very bad about having 2 or 3 FEMALE background singers (like Brian did on the Back To The Light tour) is that FEMALE voices never appeared on the Queen tracks they're performing. Therefore, they sound out of place. They need to find some baritones & tenors if they're going to reproduce a real "Queen sound".
And yes, Brian & Roger should certainly join them on harmonies. I just hope the two of them don't do leads, 'cuz neither of their voices are strong enough these days... sorry to say.

After reading Gail's comments on how much she loves Queen, she has certainly endeared herself to me and I actually rank her as my favorite choice to play bass after JRD....I have yet to hear her voice, but if its as good as people say, she will add quite a lot to the show and possibly eliminate the need for female freakin' backup singers.

I've said it before... QUEEN IS FOUR... Let the other additional musicians please stay behind the stage.

well ..Queen may be four, but Spike was at many occasions the 5th; the man is a genius and I hope he will be in too!
Paul = lead Vocal / guitar
Brian = lead guitar / backing vocals / lead vocal
Roger = percussion / backing vocals / lead vocal
John = bass
Spike = keyboards / guitar / backing vocals / (can he also drum? would be easy for Radio Ga Ga :D)
