He was always hot. And it doesn't matter that he was gay, that doesn't make him any less hot.

Have I missed something here? I thought the statement/question was refering to a vintage yr regarding Freddie's talents not a Mr Gay contest!!!! He was hot and probably from Sour Milk Sea days. Just an amazing talent and a gifted musician-personally I liked the glam/pomp part of Queens career, however before I get lambasted, I liked all the music because they could do it-consumate musicians all. So 79 yes but don't forget the yrs before 70 and all yrs thereafter.

Freddie was megahot in 1978-80! The leather made him look like the idyllic rock star. Before that he looked weird, and after that he looked too normal IMHO like he could be my neighbor.

Of course I didn't realize the leather was a gay thing though...well I was only 7 at the time too which didn't help lol
