I went to see a movie, and in one of the pre-movie commercials there was a coca-cola advertisement with I want to break free as the background music.

Oh yes, for the C2 coca cola comercials.

It's a pretty cool video, actually. The only annoying part is they cut out every lyric except for "I want to break Free". They don't even have "God knows". Probably didn't want to offend anybody. :P

tru say...and at least they kept the original and didn't have some gawd awful remake of it just for the commercial...still, i don't like the commercial OR the fact that they use the song

side note: has Somebody To Love ever been used in an American ad?? I feel like it has...for a cell phone or something? oh my, i think i'm going slightly mad
