I don't know if anyone has considered this, cause I'm just a "newbie" like you like to call them, but I REALLY think that a movie should be made about the Queen story, the life of Freddie Mercury, etc. I mean, I love Freddie maybe more than anyone else, and I would like to know more about his life in a biographical, epic type movie. The really tough part would be to find an actor good enough to even badly approximate Freddie's talent. :)
I think it would be great if Brian and Roger, and even John, if he would, could get together and work with such a movie, making certain that everything was right. I think Queen deserves to have a movie about them, cause they're just that damn good.

Go buy the "Untold Story" DVD. It is far better than any bio-pic could ever be.

No! Not some point in the distant future! It's gotta be done soon. I mean, in the distant future, anyone who listened to Queen growing up will have died, and the new fans won't be enough of an audience. In my mind, Queen is forever. Maybe Mercury thought his music was temporary, but the thing is, we love him more than he loved himself in many cases.

Buy the Freddie Mercury Collection... It's not cheap, but It's worth it. The collection includes 10 cd's and 2 dvd's (Untold story is one of them) If you buy the Video Collection, you'll get it either.
