Yeah, I go along with you. I love the live version, his voice sounds very clearly and purely in it. Before I heard it, I thought Freddie would had not been able to sing this song live so well. I must agree he sang perfectly! :)

He only sings the second verse in the live version. The first verse and the chorus is another guy , hence the diffrent voice.
The voice just didnt sound like freddie but at the second verse you hear the difference and the girls starts to scream out FREDDIE , FREDDIE. Maybe he steps in to the stage on the second verse.

yea the whole song had to be changed and reworked so cliff richard could sing it,,,(thats official)
i cant remember who told the story i think it was mike moran-he said" when cliff went into the studio and heard freddies version his jaw dropped to the floor, and the whole track had to be reworked and lower the key so cliff could sing it"
and aparant cliff was'nt to happy that freddie was getting the pic of the songs first before him,, poor o'l cliff.....lol
