Help with a song

This must be the most pathetic topic of its kind. I heard a song today on the radio, but I can't remember any exact lyrics to google it.

It's a typical 80s song and the story in the lyrics is something like "If you love her, tell her about it. Show her your love".

If someone knows what song this is, he is a real 80s music expert :-)

that's a pretty good song, it's off "an innocent man" released in 1983
