I just saw that picture earlier. What an idiotic move. I mean, he says it was a joke, but he had to realize how many people would be offended!
It seems a little sinister that nobody told him to take it off. Just saw GMTV and some Sloane was talking about how it "just wasn't good enough", but that eveeryone does stupid things when they're 20. For fuck's sake. With all the atrocity occuring in the world, I think the outrage of Harry's costume attire is almost as offensive as the act itself. It's a poor choice of clothing but he's young and he's learning. What about the MP's with mistresses and the like? They shouldn't be allowed in Parliament. Think about the people in the Tsunami areas, reflect on the slaughter in African nations, forget about the Prince who made an error in judgement.
I think this has been a huge, media led, over-reaction. He is not the first person to wear a Nazi uniform to a fancy dress party and he won't be the last.
