Apparently on 16th April (Sazka Arena, Prague). Ticket prices 35-70 euros.

The Sazka Arena was built last year, it's the best ice-hockey arena in Europe, really a wonderful bulding. Not sure about the acoustics though.

Capacity = approx. 17000 people. R.E.M. have sold it very easily so I'm sure it will be sold out for Queen quickly.

Aren't those ticket prices high or is that a decent price for Queen tickets?

For Czech Republic it's a normal price for an exclusive concert (the Paul McCartney/R.E.M. gigs have/had the same price here). On the other hand, for example Deep Purple were much cheaper.

I wonder who determines the price of a ticket...is it Queen Productions? Is it the assumed demand for the tickets? Is it a combo of the two or are there other factors involved?

It must be a compromise - if all tickets here in CZ cost 70 euros, the arena would be half empty because some people simply couldn't afford it. On the other hand, if all tickets were for 30 euros, Queen wouldn't bother coming because it would mean only a small income for them.

This is optimall price for czech peoples. for example, Metallica in Prague cost about 900-1500Czech crowns(about 30-50 EURO)

I paid for Rush concert in Prague 800 Kc (approx. 25 euro) last autumn. So 30 euro is standard price by my mean here. 70 euro is a little higher but I don't mind anyway. I'll be there.

Any advice how to order on this homepage? - It's all in Czech ... I suppose I have to register but that's a real challenge!

The tickets are not for sale yet... the concert hasn't been announced officially yet. We'll see next week.

The funniest thing is that the biggest Czech newspaper announced the concert today... and they quote www.queenconcerts.com as the source! LOL :-)
