Just heard the performance of wwry/watc paul did with queen. Sounds a bit different but great. I was one who thought Robbie or George but I think this guy will probably be better.

Are you kdmercury1? I agree with you Zanotti, but don't expect a lot reactions on this topic... We've discussed this many many times before.

I think kd must be...
You're right, Paul R is superb! Once again: It's not Queen, it doens't sound like Queen, but it doesn't need to. This is a great band in it's own right!

I'm sick and tired of hearing this Robbie Williams for Queen nonsense. Paul Rodgers is a legend who was having hits with Free several years before Queen even existed. If it wasn't for Paul and Robert Plant, 90% of the world's rock singers wouldn't be here now. Not only is he a great singer and songwriter, he is a multi talented musician who plays piano, guitar and bass. He's sold over 125 million albums in his career, and is still going strong after 35 years in the business. He's also a name in America (the world's biggest market), unlike Williams who would make this great band an absolute laughing stock.

Well, don't pretend Paul is the greatest Rock icon in history cause he isn't... But I like him and he will fit in well with Brian and Roger, I'm sure.
