I'm just wondering: What if they would be calling the tour "Brian May & Roger Taylor & that Free/ Bad Company Dude" tour... would people complain and say it should have been a Queen + tour?
I don't give a rat's ass how the show is called. As long as I can show my grandchildren a concert ticket which says Queen, I am a lucky old grandpa. Coming to think of it, I should make a baby now...

Why are Brian and Roger still calling the band "Queen" when there are only the two of them. Shouldn't they rename themselves something else ? It doesnt seem fair to Freddie since he namedd the band andis now dead............

Again the topic arrives-pre tour anxieties I suspect. I want it to succeed-what say you out there. However, Queen is not just a band name its a company. The original 4 were directors of said company 'Queen'. Out of the remaining directors 2/3 wish to use the name for the purpose of a tour featuring an invited guest one Paul Rogers. The majority have the right-democratic see. Now stop carping on about it try and go to the show and enjoy........I am

Its astonishing that every day, some genius starts another topic about this, assuming that it hasn't already been talked to death over the course of YEARS because they haven't opened up their own thread about it on Queenzone.

Whether they call it Queen or The-we-have-some-shitty-narrow-minded-fans-band, its the same people playing the same songs. The difference exists only in your small minds. Do yourselves and the rest of us a favor and GET OVER IT ALREADY. Find another trivial subject to vent your spleens and focus your narrow obtuse little minds on because this one has become indescribably tedious and, at this point, mercifully pedantic. The show must go on. Go with it or stay home and be bitter, whatever. Just move on to something that hasn't been completely exhausted already and STOP TRYING TO KILL MY BUZZ!

Markaw is talking sense. Brian and Roger,like it or not, have really kept Queens name at the forefront with their 'We will rock you' endeavours and they remain custodians of the Queen name and back catalogue. Brian's quality control with all matters Queen is impeccable and I think we can trust them to do the right thing.
People should get real - its the songs that everyone wants to hear in a live environment and sure, had they done this five minutes after Freddie died fair enough but its thirteen years!
