It is pretty bad, but it serves as more of a sampler for Wembley than an album in its own right. Kind of just gives you a taste of the Magic Tour, I suppose.
I have it but Ive only listened to side one so far..
I like the Knebworth tracks actually. They sound better than the Wembley tracks in my opinion.

I agree... album sucks.
But LIVE KILLERS... :))) ...that's another story!
They cut most of the tracks for Live Magic and some of them are pretty good, IMO, like I Want To Break Free... Just imagine that it's a giant medley of the Magic Tour and enjoy!

I would have to say the same as you. And i absolutely love Live Killers. Thats probably one of my favorite live albums.
Funny i was playing "live killers" on the other day and i loved playing it again all the way through in my opinion one of the best setlist ever on vinyl or cd, and yes live magic is alright but only alright nothing to write home about on that lp they should have released a full concert rather than titbits off certain gigs.
But hey play it enjoy it.

"live tragic" it should be re named its gotta be the worst live album ever! i bought it on its release in 86 and played it once! hey i might have a listen fo old times sake.............naaaaaaa lol i really dont know why the band gave it the go ahead i really dont. i suppose its a taster of the tour but hey why?
Have to agree the Live Magic is too short, whereas Live Killers & Queen On Fire you really get the whole feeling of being at a Queen concert.
File next to 'HOT SPACE'
Well.... i actually really liked it. the only problem was Bo Rhap but other wise i thought it was good
all of you that like live killers must research the thread "live killer venues".just superb, tells all about the sinister mixing and how each song could be bits from 2-3 different shows.
live killers is so good.
Does anyone know WHY it was edited down to a single album? Had it been the full concert, on a double CD, it would have been a classic.
