News of The World Cover

I have always wondered if the people on the front of the News of the world cover are Freddie, Brian andd John being held by that thing. . But then I looked all over the cover for whats his name, but never found him. So I have my doubts......................

So, did you look on the back?

I checked and its just a big hole. If you had the album, youd know that. :-l

He ... whats the problem? Of course, Freddie Brian, John and Roger are held by a giant robot.
When you look on the back you can see Roger falling. Its a drawing by American Frank Kelly Freas (in the original version of the drawing from the 40S or 50s there is only one dead huming being held by the same robot in the palm of his hand - where Brian and Freddie lie in the drawing for the cover).

Does anyone know if the original "artwork" is located on the Internet? (ie. a photo of it)

I'd like to see what the original looked like.

BTW, he died about a few weeks ago.

thanx for the link bambam! It looks amazing! I immediately had to think of "Machines (Back to Humans)"!

Well if that stupidd fool could have at least made them look at least a little like Queen i wouldnt have posted this.....

But ... they look like Queen. At least Brian May is crearly recognizeable. Of course, its a painting and not a photograph. But you should have guessed it from the fact alone that there are four male people on the cover and they have the hairstyle and haircolour of the Queen members back in 1977.

I think they were doin a gig :D and he went for the guys with the weirdest clothing..
